Scalper Terminal
Open Scalper, or choose Services → Scalper
Terminal. After signing in with an active trial or subscription, Open
full-screen terminal opens the dedicated terminal at /scalper/terminal.
The terminal fills the browser viewport, like the depth and order-log replay
services. Use a desktop browser; resize the depth and account panels as needed.
What is included
| Module | Capability |
|---|---|
| Instruments | Search Hyperliquid's current perpetual, spot and builder-deployed perpetual catalog. Asset IDs and size precision come from exchange metadata. |
| Depth | AlphaQuick Edge depth for mainnet BTC, ETH and SOL; public Hyperliquid depth for other listed markets and testnet. |
| Ladder | Price and size columns, proportional volume bars, spread and adjustable level count. Single-click selects price. When armed, double-click a bid to BUY or an ask to SELL at that price. Working terminal orders are marked on their level. |
| Chart | Live midpoint and public trade bubbles in three notional sizes, UTC time axis, live-follow/zoom controls and working-order lines. History is bounded to this tab. |
| Account | Exchange permission checks, perpetual account value, withdrawable balance, position, entry price, unrealized P&L, spot balances and open orders. |
| Orders | Locally signed GTC, ALO and IOC orders; readable status cards, per-order cancellation, working-only filter, cancel-all and reduce-only perpetual flatten. |
| Statistics | Placement/cancel RTT, confirmed execution fees and realized P&L, closing-fill and completed-cycle statistics, and a position P&L rail beside depth. |
| Quoting | Supervised post-only quotes with side, size, offset from BBO, tick size, movement threshold and minimum requote interval. |
| Lead data | One additional Hyperliquid instrument, percentage-change chart and rolling Pearson correlation of paired one-second returns. |
| Hotkeys | Rebind buy, sell, flatten and quoting controls to key combinations. Input focus, key repeat and conflicting bindings are guarded. |
Binance SBE, Binance futures data and Binance execution are not included. Public depth coverage and the number of levels depend on Hyperliquid. Seeing a market in the catalog does not guarantee liquidity or permission to trade it.
Subscribe and cancel
The current monthly USD price is shown on the subscription page. First-time subscribers receive a seven-day trial with a card required in Stripe Checkout. After the trial, Stripe automatically charges the next month, then monthly until cancellation. Applicable tax is shown at checkout. Returning subscribers who already redeemed a trial pay immediately; the offer states which case applies.
- Sign in, read the current terms and accept them.
- Select Start 7-day trial with card or the returning-subscriber offer.
- Complete Stripe Checkout and wait for webhook confirmation on the site.
- Open the full-screen terminal. A checkout redirect alone does not grant access.
Use Manage / cancel subscription on /scalper to cancel before the trial ends
and avoid the first monthly charge. Cancellation preserves access through the
trial or paid period. The billing portal shows the exact end date, invoices and
payment method. A trial is available once per AlphaQuick account.
The plan includes the hosted terminal and scoped browser Edge access. It does not grant download entitlements or a programmatic relay API key.
Connect market data
Choose Mainnet or Testnet, search the instrument selector and connect.
The search field stays open while you click and type. Click a matching instrument
or press Enter to select the first match; Escape or a click outside closes
the selector. Opening it again clears the previous search.
Builder markets use their full names, such as xyz:XYZ100. Spot markets display
human-readable pairs alongside the exchange wire name, such as @107.
Choose Edge relay for the supported mainnet markets, or Public API. Selecting a market outside Edge's scope switches to Public API and reports that choice. Public API requests Hyperliquid's fast depth: five levels per side. Choose Public 20 levels for a deeper, slower snapshot stream. Slow snapshots can be more than five seconds apart; orders still require depth no older than three seconds, so use fast Public API or Edge for trading. The depth selector controls displayed rows, not the number of levels supplied by the exchange. See Hyperliquid's depth subscription options. Changing an instrument clears its book and chart. Open terminal orders must be resolved before changing the execution instrument. Changing network requires disconnecting the account first.
Every depth delta is applied when received, independently of painting. The UI reads the latest complete book. Gaps, malformed/crossed books and data older than three seconds disarm trading and stop quoting. Reconnection obtains a fresh snapshot and, for Edge, a new ticket. A true outage never automatically rearms trading. During a public-feed pause, the ladder retains the last valid snapshot with a red STALE label and its age. Orders and the live P&L estimate remain disabled. The existing socket can resume; after 15 seconds without a valid snapshot the terminal reconnects with backoff. Heartbeats and trade prints do not count as fresh depth. Recovery keeps trading disarmed until you explicitly rearm it.
Edge authorization is renewed before expiry using a second independently seeded connection. The old connection closes only after the replacement has a fresh, complete book at least as recent as the current one. Normal renewal preserves chart history and arming; the renewal counter advances without an outage message. An expired ticket, failed replacement, real gap or stale depth still blocks orders. Chart history survives reconnects, while executable depth must be rebuilt.
Price chart and trade bubbles
The midpoint line and public execution bubbles use the replay tools' navy/cyan,
green-buy and red-sell colors. Bubbles have three sizes (2, 4 and 7.5 pixels),
selected by execution notional (price × size). Adjust the medium and large
thresholds above the chart. The trade tape comes directly from Hyperliquid's
public trades stream on the selected network, including when depth uses Edge.
These are market executions, not confirmation that your own orders filled.
Uncheck Show trades to hide all public trade bubbles. The midpoint/lead lines
remain visible. The tape continues collecting data, so
checking the box again restores available history.
Follow live keeps the selected time window and visible price range in view. Dragging or zooming pauses follow. Double-click the chart or enable Follow live to resume it. The time axis is UTC. Compare % overlays the connected lead; the traded instrument remains visible while paired samples are being collected. Enable Show orders to display exchange-acknowledged working terminal orders as dashed price lines: green for buys, red for sells. This checkbox starts off. Hiding the lines does not cancel orders; use the order cards to cancel them.
Double-click order entry
- Connect and verify the account, choose size and the notional cap, and arm trading.
- Enable Double-click orders in the depth panel.
- Double-click a bid level to BUY, or an ask level to SELL at that price.
The first click selects the price. The second must confirm the same price and side within half a second. If the ladder moves between clicks, no order is sent. A post-only selection remains post-only; otherwise the depth instruction is a limit/GTC order, even if the button-entry mode was IOC. The reduce-only setting, size, arming, freshness and outstanding-order checks apply. Single clicks never submit. Disable Double-click orders to use selection only.
Three credential fields
No exchange key is required to view market data. To trade, use a dedicated approved Hyperliquid agent wallet, with the following fields:
| UI field | Main account | Subaccount checkbox selected |
|---|---|---|
| Private key | Signer's private key | Signer's private key |
| Agent wallet | agent_wallet: the address derived from that key | Same |
| Trading wallet | user_wallet: main wallet that owns the orders | vault_address: subaccount wallet that owns the orders |
With a main-account key, Agent wallet is that same main account address. With an
approved agent key, Agent wallet usually differs from Trading wallet. The form
checks that the key derives the entered Agent wallet. For a subaccount, the
connector discovers the master through Hyperliquid's userRole, checks the
agent under the target or master account, and includes vaultAddress in both
the signed action hash and the request. No fourth field is needed.
Select Connect account to check the account type and agent approval and load balances. An expired/unapproved agent or a mismatched account checkbox blocks trading. The key stays in tab memory, is not saved to browser storage, and is never sent to AlphaQuick. Signed requests go directly to Hyperliquid. Clearing keys requires resolving this terminal's outstanding orders first.
Balances are polled, not an instantaneous execution guarantee. A stale account snapshot blocks new orders. For builder markets, perpetual values refer to the selected DEX and its collateral currency; order notional is in the pair's quote currency. Spot holdings are listed separately.
Place and manage orders
Mainnet orders use real funds. Stripe test billing does not simulate exchange trading. Select Hyperliquid Testnet and a testnet-funded wallet for execution acceptance tests.
- Connect market data and a verified account.
- Set size and maximum order notional. The initial notional cap is 100 units of the market's quote currency. Choose your own suitable limit.
- Select Limit, Post-only or IOC. For a limit, enter a price or select a depth row. For IOC, set a slippage cap in basis points; one basis point is 0.01%.
- Explicitly check Arm LIVE trading — real funds or Arm TESTNET trading.
- Press BUY/SELL or its assigned shortcut. Inspect the terminal order status and exchange order ID. “Queued” and “Submitting” are not fill confirmations.
Sizes round down to exchange lot precision. Prices round conservatively within the selected limit. IOC leaves no resting unfilled remainder, but can partially fill. A reduce-only order must reduce the current perpetual position.
Cancel terminal orders cancels only orders submitted by this tab. Other exchange orders are visible for reference; manage them in Hyperliquid. Each working order also has its own Cancel button in Terminal orders. Working orders appear first; Working only hides completed entries. Cards show the side, instrument, original size, limit, filled/remaining quantity, exchange ID, UTC submission time, time-in-force and placement RTT. Hover for the client ID and detailed outcome. Filled, canceled, rejected, not-placed and unresolved states are distinguished. A completed order without an exchange ID is not shown as still waiting for one.
Cancellation works while trading is disarmed. Cancel pending means confirmation is still outstanding: a cancel request does not prove the order cannot fill. Canceling an algo-owned order stops the quoting engine and cancels its quotes so it cannot immediately replace that order. Canceling a manual order leaves other manual orders alone. An unsent queued order is discarded locally; an in-flight order remains tracked and a late acknowledgement triggers its cancellation.
Flatten position (IOC) submits a reduce-only close for the selected perpetual position within your slippage and notional caps. If terminal orders remain, the first click requests cancellation; after confirmation and a fresh account snapshot, rearm and click Flatten again. Existing external orders for that instrument must also be resolved. Verify the remaining position afterward: an IOC close can partially fill. Spot holdings are sold through sized sell orders.
A submission is sent once with a unique client order ID and a short signed
expiry. A timeout is treated as unknown, not rejected. The terminal polls
orderStatus to reconcile it and blocks new orders while unresolved. It never
retries a placement blindly. Cancellation failures remain visible and tracked.
Use Hyperliquid directly if a state cannot be resolved.
Position rail and trading statistics
With a fresh perpetual position and depth, the ladder shows LONG/SHORT, size,
average entry, current exit BBO and estimated gross P&L. A long is valued at the
best bid; a short at the best ask: (exit price − entry price) × signed position.
This is an estimate for closing the whole position at BBO; available size,
slippage, fees and funding are not included. The Account panel separately shows
the exchange-reported unrealized P&L, which can use a different valuation price.
The P&L column shows the hypothetical gross result at each depth price. A colored rail links average entry L (long) or S (short) to the current exit price. The column and the three-line position summary keep their space when flat or waiting for fresh data, displaying dashes where P&L is unavailable. Opening or closing a position does not change the column widths or push the ladder down. L* or S* indicates entry is outside the displayed depth. The P&L column is for inspection and does not submit orders. Stale depth/account data hides the estimate. Spot inventory remains in Account balances; this release does not estimate spot inventory cost basis.
Click the position summary, Session P&L / statistics, or the RTT summary above the chart to open Trading statistics. Trading shortcuts are suppressed while this window is open. Statistics cover confirmed executions in the connected trading wallet since connection, including executions from other tools. They remain in memory and reset on account disconnect or page close. They are not an all-time account report.
| Metric | Definition |
|---|---|
| Aggregate net realized | Exchange closedPnl minus all execution fees on perpetual fills. Totals stay separate for each collateral/fee currency. Funding and transfers are excluded. |
| Gross / fees / net by instrument | Selected instrument's realized P&L and fees, including opening fees and negative maker rebates. Builder fees are already included in the exchange fee and are not subtracted twice. |
| Closing-fill results | One result per execution that reduces a position, after the proportional exit fee. Shows count, win rate, average winner/loser, expectancy, best/worst and profit factor. An order can produce multiple fills; opening fees are included in totals and cycles, not this average. |
| Completed cycles | Flat → position → flat, including additions, partial closes and all opening/closing fees. A reversal closes one cycle and starts the next, splitting the fee by size. Includes average duration. |
| Excluded cycles | Positions carried into the session and cycles interrupted by a position discontinuity are excluded from completed-cycle averages. Their observed realized P&L/fees still contribute to session totals. Open cycles are not completed results. |
| Realized drawdown | Largest drop from a running peak of instrument net realized P&L, starting at zero. It excludes unrealized changes and is not account equity drawdown. |
| Volume / maker / taker | Execution count and traded notional in the instrument's quote units. Spot reports volume and fees only; spot P&L is not added to perpetual totals. |
Private executions are polled about every five seconds with an overlapping time range and deduplicated by their exchange identities. Pagination is inclusive; missing/invalid history shows an incomplete or stale state. The session retains at most 10,000 fills. Reaching the bound or being unable to advance a history page freezes statistics with an explanation, rather than silently discarding history. Extended outages or the exchange's history retention limit may leave gaps; compare with the exchange's own records when reconciling performance.
Order RTT
The summary above the graph shows last, p50 / median, p90 and p99 placement response time. The statistics window has separate placement and cancel series, each covering the latest 1,000 responses. Percentiles use linear interpolation (p50 and median are the same value in this display).
RTT runs from browser HTTP dispatch to receipt and parsing of the response, before the UI repaints. It includes network and exchange processing and responses that reject an order. It excludes queue wait, local signing and time to fill. Transport failures/timeouts are counted separately and do not enter response percentiles.
Supervised quoting
Choose the side, size, tick size, BBO offset, requote movement threshold and minimum interval (at least 500 ms). Quotes are post-only. Replacements wait for cancellation acknowledgement and fresh account information before proceeding.
Before starting, acknowledge the supervision notice and arm the exchange cancel timer. The timer cancels all open orders on the selected trading account, including orders from other tools. Use a dedicated account/subaccount and understand this scope. The timer must be acknowledged before quoting starts. While supervised quoting runs, the terminal refreshes the timer to approximately 40 seconds ahead. After Stop it is left to fire as a backstop. Hyperliquid limits the number of daily cancel-timer triggers; a rejected timer blocks quoting.
Quoting begins with no outstanding orders in the selected DEX and a flat perpetual position. It stops on a detected fill or inventory change, invalid/stale data, stale account state, loss of focus/access, timer failure, or after a 60-second session. Starting again requires a deliberate action. These controls do not guarantee a maximum loss or successful cancellation.
Never leave algorithms unattended. You choose the parameters and accept the risk. Manual resting orders may remain live after the tab closes. Cancel and verify all relevant orders before leaving. Closing, crashing or suspending a browser prevents it from reliably sending further requests. Keep access to Hyperliquid's own interface for recovery.
Lead chart and correlation
Enter an exact Hyperliquid wire symbol in Lead & correlation, then connect it. The public lead feed uses the same selected network. Correlation uses paired fresh prices sampled once per second and computes Pearson correlation on their returns, over the selected window in seconds. Stale data clears the window. Constant prices or insufficient samples show a collecting state. Correlation is a descriptive statistic, not a trade instruction or proof of predictive power.
Edge credentials and access expiry
The browser sends an authenticated, CSRF-protected request to
/api/scalper/ticket. The server checks the subscription and mints a ticket scoped
to the symbol, depth channel and source. Its lifetime is at most 60 seconds and
is capped by subscription expiry. Long-lived relay secrets and API keys stay on
the server. The short-lived ticket and received data are visible in DevTools.
The terminal periodically rechecks access. On failure it disables new orders and stops quoting, but keeps cancellation and reconciliation available. It does not navigate away automatically and destroy an active trading session.
Troubleshooting
- No markets: reload metadata and verify Hyperliquid API connectivity.
- Edge ticket unavailable: check sign-in, subscription, relay configuration and allowed origin. Try Public API to isolate the market-data source.
- Renewal counter increases: expected authorization maintenance, without clearing history or stopping a healthy feed.
- Socket closed: report the UTC activity timestamp, numeric close code and source.
- Chart stopped following: enable Follow live or double-click the chart.
- No bubbles: the public trades stream is separate from Edge depth; check its status and whether the instrument is trading.
- Stale depth: the displayed ladder is the last snapshot, not current depth. Wait for automatic recovery before rearming. With Public 20 levels, select fast Public API for frequent snapshots. If it persists, provide the UTC activity lines containing the source, snapshot timeout or socket close code. Public sockets connect directly to Hyperliquid, so site nginx ticket logs do not show those disconnections.
- Approval not found: verify the exact agent key/address, its expiry, the selected network and the main/subaccount checkbox.
- Unknown order outcome: do not resubmit the same trade. Wait for reconciliation or inspect the account directly on Hyperliquid.
- Timer unavailable: check the exchange error and daily trigger limit. Live quoting remains disabled until the timer is acknowledged.
For support, provide the network, instrument, source, timestamp and non-sensitive status/error text. Never share private keys, cookies or raw ticket URLs.
