Subscriptions
Access to the live relay is gated by a Hyperliquid Live subscription, paid with Alpha Credits.
Alpha Credits
Alpha Credits are the in-app balance used to pay for subscriptions. Top up under Settings → Buy Credits. Deposits are credited once finalized on Arbitrum — usually ~15–20 minutes after the transaction arrives, not instantly.
Subscribing
- Open Settings → Subscriptions.
- Confirm your Available Balance covers the plan price.
- Choose Hyperliquid Live (Fast Connector) and Subscribe.
Once active, the subscription shows a renewal date and Auto-renew status. While auto-renew is on, the plan renews automatically at period end and charges your credits; if credits are insufficient at renewal, the subscription expires.
What a subscription unlocks
An active subscription is what lets you create API keys and connect to the
relay. Each key is scoped to a single relay product (today,
hyperliquid-live) and inherits that product's entitlement — which symbols,
channels, and connection limits it may use.
If your subscription lapses, existing keys stop being authorized at their next revalidation (within ~30 seconds) and new connections are refused until you resubscribe.
